LISTEN UP! 2025 for Year 4 Students of Harju County.
On 11th April Year 4 students from schools all over Harju County are welcomed to participate in a web-based
quiz LISTEN UP! 2025 - a quiz that gives Year 4 students an opportunity to put their listening comprehension to the test!
Topics possibly covered in the quiz:
Months and seasons, food, school, sports, weather, family, present and past, adjectives, time and numbers,
questions, irregular plural, etc.
Types of exercises:
* Choose the correct answer (multiple choice)
* Fill in the gaps (a song/poem/chant/by spelling).
* Reorder the events of the story/dialogue.
* Which word was (NOT) spelled/used?
* Yes or No? / True or false?
There are up to 12 topic sections/tasks in the quiz.
It will take up to 45 minutes to finish the quiz.
Timeline:
The competition link will be published on Aruküla Basic School’s website (www.arukyla.edu.ee).
The link will grant access to participants at 10.30 a.m. sharp!
We expect everyone to begin at the same time!
Answers must be submitted no later than 11.15
PS! Check your headphones and sound settings beforehand!
The competition is set in Google Forms, all tasks are embedded through YouTube.
In most cases of technical issues - opening the competition access link up in another browser has helped.
Results:
In case of receiving equal points, the students will be ranked according to the time spent on the quiz
(the faster the better :)
The winners will be announced on Aruküla Basic School’s website on 15th April.

We expect up to 7 ESL students per class and no more than 25 participants per school.
